HCRI Outreach & Hybrid Monitoring Technician I

Based in Hilo, Hawai'i, this full-time position supports the Hawai'i Coral Reef Initiative (HCRI) and the Division of Aquatic Resources (DAR). The technician conducts marine surveys using snorkel and SCUBA, including biological transects, fish counts, and water quality sampling to monitor coral reef health. The role also involves coordinating community outreach events and managing volunteers for marine animal emergency responses such as monk seal and sea turtle strandings.
